I am helping a newbie with a new draft.  idnits has the following warning:

== Couldn't figure out when the document was first submitted -- there may
comments or warnings related to the use of a disclaimer for
pre-RFC5378
work that could not be issued because of this.  Please check the Legal
      Provisions document at https://trustee.ietf.org/license-info to
determine
if you need the pre-RFC5378 disclaimer.

I can't figure out why.  Perhaps it is related to these warnings can be
ignored?

-- Obsolete informational reference (is this intentional?): RFC 2246
      (Obsoleted by RFC 4346)

-- Obsolete informational reference (is this intentional?): RFC 4346
      (Obsoleted by RFC 5246)

-- Obsolete informational reference (is this intentional?): RFC 5246
      (Obsoleted by RFC 8446)

-- Obsolete informational reference (is this intentional?): RFC 6347
      (Obsoleted by RFC 9147)

And yes, they need to reference these older RFCs.  Or, rather, I am not
the one to debate this point.  I am just working with them to get their
work out.

Thanks

Bob
