The IESG has approved publication of the following five Internet-Drafts
as Proposed Standards:

 1. IP Mobility Support
	<draft-ietf-mobileip-protocol-17.txt>
 2. IP Encapsulation within IP
	<draft-ietf-mobileip-ip4inip4-03 .txt>
 3. Minimal Encapsulation within IP
	<draft-ietf-mobileip-minenc-02.txt>
 4. Applicability Statement for IP Mobility Support
	<draft-ietf-mobileip-appl-02.txt>
 5. The Definitions of Managed Objects for IP Mobility Support
	<draft-ietf-mobileip-mib-00.txt>

These documents are the product of the IP Routing for Wireless/Mobile
Hosts Working Group. The IESG contact person is Joel Halpern.

Technical Summary

  These documents provide a mechanisms for IPv4 communication by mobile
  stations. Such stations may talk to each other, and to unmodified
  stationary IPv4 hosts.

  The protocol provides for a set of behaviors for the mobile host, a
  foreign agent serving that mobile host in its current location, and a
  home agend providing routing support for the mobile host in the base,
  non-mobile environment.

  Two encapsulations are provided for differing mobile communications
  situations.

Working Group Summary

  After prolonged extensive development, this document represents the
  clear and strong concensus of the group.

Protocol Quality

  This specification has been reviewed by the Routing Area Director,
  Joel M. Halpern for the IESG. In addition, interoperability testing
  has been done among many independent implementations, and the issues
  found there have been corrected in the specification.

  The Mobile IP MIB was reviewed for the Network Management Area by Bob
