Dear all, This version integrates a second set of comments received during the IESG review. The main changes are as follows: * Clarify the use of HOST_ID common to all interfaces is out of scope * Provide more explanation for the Proxy case * Record two additional limitations for the IP Option case * Add a new bullet to record the encountered issue when the tcp options space is exhausted * Rename HOST_ID to HOST_IDENT as HOST-ID is confusing for OPS (it is used to bind a license). Cheers, Med >-----Message d'origine----- >De : int-area-bounces@ietf.org [mailto:int-area-bounces@ietf.org] De la >part de internet-drafts@ietf.org >Envoyé : jeudi 11 avril 2013 16:11 >À : i-d-announce@ietf.org >Cc : int-area@ietf.org >Objet : [Int-area] I-D Action: draft-ietf-intarea-nat-reveal-analysis- >08.txt > > >A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts >directories. > This draft is a work item of the Internet Area Working Group Working Group >of the IETF. > > Title : Analysis of Solution Candidates to Reveal a Host >Identifier (HOST_IDENT) in Shared Address Deployments > Author(s) : Mohamed Boucadair > Joe Touch > Pierre Levis > Reinaldo Penno > Filename : draft-ietf-intarea-nat-reveal-analysis-08.txt > Pages : 23 > Date : 2013-04-11 > >Abstract: > This document is a collection of solutions to reveal a host > identifier (denoted as HOST_IDENT) when a Carrier Grade NAT (CGN) or > application proxies are involved in the path.
