If folks want to optimize things, then, may I ask: why are you using
128-bit SIDs in the first place?

P.S.: In any case, it's interesting to see version -07 still fail to
argue why insertion rather than encapsulation, and have participants
theorize about it, when that argument/discussion should be part of any
sensible proposal to change the current state of affairs.
