Hi Brian,



RFC6164 doesn't mandate that p2p-links are /127, it mandates that routers support it.



So, it may be better if your example at section 2, shows both possibilities, which also provides you more examples of LAP for the same purpose in different networks.



Something in the line of:

A point-to-point link may have a LAP of /64, but also of /127 (according to [RFC6164]).
