Hi Ana,

This discussion has been trigger when I asked if we can use a rule to share commands between a device and a SCHC gateway, my initial need was to change the IID of a device.
As Alexander said this can have wider implications like sharing the rules, how to acknowledge etc… so we might want to step back and discuss what is its scope in addition to a IANA registry
