I am extremely sorry to see messages like these (which some would call 
spam) being posted to the list. As a general etiquette, please first 
discuss with the chairs before sending out such advertisement emails. 
People on other lists have already expressed their displeasure about

@LWIG: Please understand that we (Zhen and I), as list administrators 
are trying our best to limit the amount of emails you have to process. 
There were even emails advertising job openings which were posted to the 
LWIG recently. Thankfully, we have been successful in moderating them 
before they reached you.
