As one of the authors, i'm happy to see this and i support adoption.

btw, I just uploaded draft -02 today (to sync the datatracker with the
recent work in gitlab), before i saw this message 😛 i hope that doesn't
cause a wrinkle in the adoption process.

I don't think there are particularly challenging changes in here, and in
any case, if the WG were to adopt it of course we'd want review and
edits on these changes anyway.

From the changelog in the draft:

- Align IANA registration section with requests from IANA.
- Update references for drafts which are now RFCs.
