At the YANA meeting on Sunday, there was a question in Will’s slides about
unifying the content steering specs (at least getting the common parts out
of the hls and dash specs and publishing them as a referencable spec).

I had recommended mops for this work in the hls meeting we had few weeks
ago. Yet the AD had some reservations about this work’s relation to mops.

Given that mops is looking for new work, i would like to understand these
reservations better. Should we discuss this on the list?
