Hi all,

This is Youngkwon Lim, the Convenor of MPEG Systems Working Group. Let me
add my two cents here.

First of all, as explained by Cyril and Stephan I can reassure you here
that IETF has full access to MPEG documents for standard development
purposes. So, please feel free to ask for any documents through Stephan or
me for your development of the I-Ds. Actually I would like to thank Stephan
for doing a great job on supporting this for many years!

MPEG understands the issue of public access of the documents and keeps
trying to find the ways to find solutions within the ISO rules. For
example, MPEG publishes many documents under development for public access
through the MPEG website, http://mpeg.org. You can find many documents
there for your development work before purchasing the finally published
version. MPEG also tries to make some standards freely available even
though it is not easy and take quite a long time. We've been successfully
made MPEG-DASH standard is freely available for download by anybody without
paying any money.

Please don't hesitate to drop me (or Cyril) an email if you have any
technical or procedural questions about the MPEG work.

Sincerely,
Youngkwon Lim.
