Guh.  I remember being in the room for some of this stuff.  This essentially boils down to TE LSPs specifically for timing.  This sort of stuff needs to be spelled out very particularly, since these sorts of things aren't obvious to everyone who might consider the technology.  It doesn't have to be much, but IMO this draft needs "here's how to design your network around this protocol".
