This is because virtual link, which underlying path has cost greater than 0xFFFF, considered as inoperational. As a result, virtually connected area(s) could be isolated from backbone. Notes ----- In case there are two or more links on path taken by virtual link, and one of them has max link cost, path metric will exceed value 0xffff. As a result virtual link will become inoperational. Instructions: ------------- This erratum is currently posted as "Reported".
