Ok.  Record me as preferring option 2 also.  Unless others feel strongly
enough to convince Harald, please drop the "informational" agenda item,
discuss the general issues, and then issue a Last Call.   Before someone
asks, this possible course of action has already been discussed with the
authors/proposers and they are agreeable.
