we could do that, and we're apparently (as in NSEC3) going to do that.

however, based on the disagreements about the meaning of the name roy
chose, i think that there's still disagreement about what kind of negative
proofs ("should the middle be excluded?") people actually think is needed.

in other words, the disagreement about the name could be the tip of the
iceberg.
