During netext BoF it became clear that people were very much concerned with MN involvement. PMIPv6 was designed with the assumption of no MN involvement.
 
Same sensitivity was shown in 6ai BoF. When IPv6 was designed they said no need for NAT boxes. 6ai BoF was proposing IPv6 NAT.
 
This is the bottom line which should be respected I think.
