Where can one find the latest information of the new version of X.500 
that is under development and should become standard version 1996?

I am interested in what kind of improvements or new features are being 
developed, what documents are available and where can one find them?
Are there any information resources in Internet concerning X.500(96)?

At the moment I have the following papers:

ITU-T SG 7 contributions nr. 253-259

Perhaps they are the latest information available?
