Hi PIM, SPRING, OSPF, ISIS

FYI, We've posted an update to the framework draft, as well as OSPF and ISIS drafts. This documents the approach and changes required to implement multicast as a hybrid of unicast tunnels and replication points in a SPRING-MPLS network. In this approach the multicast trees and the resulting FIB are derived entirely from information in the IGP.

At this point, this constitutes a complete proposal that can be critiqued in its entirety. We'd welcome folks to read it though and welcome comments and questions...

The drafts of interest are:
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-allan-spring-mpls-multicast-framework/
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-allan-isis-spring-multicast/
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-allan-ospf-spring-multicast/

Cheers!
