Then, I do not understand why ITU-T Y.1453 clasifies ISDN bearer services in circuit mode as Nx64 TDM traffic, and unstructured one. They use channelized E1/DS1 (hence structured). You are bringing up an interesting point. Y.1453 (which I edited) allows carrying ISDN bearer services as structured N*64 (without the need to call out that they ARE ISDN), but it also allows unstructured transport of ISDN services which have their own physical interfaces. For example, 2B+D at 144kbps. Participants at the time brought up various other physical interfaces that are defined, but perhaps not widely deployed. They too may be carried in an unstructured way.
