A new Request for Comments is now available in online RFC libraries. RFC 9450 Title: Reliable and Available Wireless (RAW) Use Cases Author: CJ. Bernardos, Ed., G. Papadopoulos, P. Thubert, F. Theoleyre Status: Informational Stream: IETF Date: August 2023 Mailbox: cjbc@it.uc3m.es, georgios.papadopoulos@imt-atlantique.fr, pthubert@cisco.com, fabrice.theoleyre@cnrs.fr Pages: 24 Updates/Obsoletes/SeeAlso: None I-D Tag: draft-ietf-raw-use-cases-11.txt URL: https://www.rfc-editor.org/info/rfc9450 DOI: 10.17487/RFC9450 The wireless medium presents significant specific challenges to achieve properties similar to those of wired deterministic networks. At the same time, a number of use cases cannot be solved with wires and justify the extra effort of going wireless. This document presents wireless use cases (such as aeronautical communications, amusement parks, industrial applications, pro audio and video, gaming, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) control, edge robotics, and emergency vehicles), demanding reliable and available behavior. This document is a product of the Reliable and Available Wireless Working Group of the IETF. INFORMATIONAL: This memo provides information for the Internet community.
