Hello,

This is an advance notice that the W3C Team is currently working on a
new charter for the Web Authentication Working Group:
   https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/2024/wg-webauthn.html

The new charter is a simple continuation of the existing Working Group,
which is working on the next revision of the Web Authentication API
specification (Level 3).

We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make
your comments public, you're welcome to raise comments on the draft
charter at:
https://github.com/w3c/charter-drafts/issues/new?assignees=plehegar&title=%5Bwg/webauthn%5D

or, as a comment in
   https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/446

W3C Members may also discuss on the member-confidential mailing list
<w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>.

If you should have any questions or need further information, please
feel free to contact Philippe Le Hegaret <plh@w3.org>.

A formal Advisory Committee Review for this charter is expected in late
March 2024.

This announcement follows section 4.1 of the Process Document:
   https://www.w3.org/2023/Process-20231103/#WGCharterDevelopment

Thank you,

For Philippe Le Hégaret, W3C Strategy and Project Lead;
Xueyuan Jia, W3C Marketing & Communications
