I'm in favour of this work getting adoption and discussion. I've followed
the drafts.

I think my skepticisms around repository consistency and sync in general
aren't reasons not to have this work in the WG, and the questions I have in
my mind about atomicity, update and how the serial/difference mechanism
copes with large flat spaces being changed will get covered off in WG
discussion.
