[Sidrops] Estimating timeline for ASPA Deployment

Esteemed colleagues,

I wonder what people think of likely soonest target dates for adoption of
ASPA?

I know some RP and CA software packages are starting beta implementations
which is nice to see but there are a number of other things that need to
happen.

Not the least of these is implementation in router vendor software and the
broad rollout of said software (which can be several months if not a year
for large networks with many other considerations especially for
service-affecting software upgrades.
Of course, if/when some bugs turn up in this software, it needs to be
upgraded again....

Then there's support needed in RIR systems as well.

Anyway, I'd like to get some discussion of realistic timeframes for
earliest adoption, widespread adoption (of course not a given), etc.

ROV has taken the better part of a decade (or more maybe depending on how
it's measured.)
