Gonzalo,

This is a fundamental design decision made in SIP conferencing nearly two 
years ago, and I believe it is a good one.  A requirement for conferencing 
is that a UA must be able to find out information about a conference (by 
subscribing to the conference package, for example) by only knowing the 
conference URI.

Why is this very useful property a problem?

With all due respect, the exploders work should follow the approaches 
described in the conferencing work.  Note that the exploders work should 
not also contradict the XCON work in related areas, as well...
