I strongly agree with the idea.

It should be noted it is as quick to type
2001:db8::1 as
192.168.1.1 is, but longer than
10.1.1.1 is.

On another hand, the shortest IPv4 address is
1.1.1.1 whereas IPv6 is 1::1.
