Hi all,

We have modified our stateless NAT44 draft as follow:

- Added a bridge mode into "CPE operation", in which internal addresses are directly assigned to the end hosts in the home network.
- Modified the "CPE provisioning" to "Customer provisioning" as the object could be either CPE or end host.
- Added a picture into the architecture where the home network can have the internal addresses directly.

Your review and comments are highly appreciated.

Will

A new version of I-D, draft-tsou-stateless-nat44-02.txt
has been successfully submitted by Will Liu and posted to the
IETF repository.

Filename: draft-tsou-stateless-nat44
Revision: 02
Title: Stateless IPv4 Network Address Translation
Creation date: 2012-10-22
WG ID: Individual Submission
Number of pages: 12
URL: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-tsou-stateless-nat44-02.txt
Status: http://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-tsou-stateless-nat44
Htmlized: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-tsou-stateless-nat44-02

Abstract:
This memo describes a protocol for decentralizing IPv4 NAT to the
customer-premises equipment (CPE) such that no state information is
kept on the central NAT device. The CPE uses a restricted source
port set that is encoded in its provisioned IPv4 WAN address. The
NAT device performs only strictly stateless address (not port)
   translation.
