The current performance history I-D states that

But in the SONET MIB xyzTimeElapsed is in the range 1..900 and has a
description clause which reads "The number of seconds, including partial
seconds, that have elapsed since the beginning of the current
error-measurement period."  This is different from the other trunk MIBs
but is not being changed to align with them because such a change would
deprecate most of the SONET MIB (for no good reason).

Shouldn't the commentary in the I-D be updated to acknowledge this practice?
