FWIW, before everyone jumps in, ACS is for the UDP payload not the options.
We don’t really have a ‘strong’ checksum for the header itself, but that’s no different from IP (which uses a weak checksum) and especially IPv6 (which uses no checksum at all).

There’s simply no reason that UDP should be stronger than IP in this regard.
