Although configurable options should IMHO be avoided as much as possible, this is IMHO an acceptable compromise, but only if IPv6 is the default preference.

Thus, ordinary users, who don't know how to configure IP-layer options, will work in IPv6 with all popular servers (Google's etc.) wherever normal quality IPv6 connectivity exists.
They will thus be immune from any consequence of port shortages in NAT44s, possibly more and more frequent in the future.
