Hisham, During the ad-hoc group discussion it looked to us that media policy is tied to a conference. Mostly the example you had about which media are allowed in the conference and even at what rates. Since conference policy and media policy may be used by an application server to create conferences based on the user service agreement then the application server may need to be able to tell the conference bridge those parameters.
