Very much so.
We all have our allow-lists, which probably differ between areas.

I’m using flyspell with emacs (which also is 100 times more useful for as-you-type correction than any autocorrect), as well as some languagetool integration, so spell-checking generally is not a separate activity or step for me.

Lars has some interesting tools in this space (also based on languagetool, IIRC) for after-the-fact checking.

I think some brainstorming about what a web-based tool could add here would be useful.
