Jordi, it is a big mistake to propose rigid time-lines or ask the secretariat to apply them. Nobody here is an expert in visa regulations and immigration law. At least I hope not. :-) Besides, the host country’s visa rules which apply today could well be very different one/two/whatever years from now.

I think we’ve identified a problem and have asked The Management (tm) to sort it out. We should now trust the secretariat to take appropriate measures so that those who need visas for a meeting can get them in plenty of time.
