Today, I noticed street signs up for a city app in which you can photograph a stranger you think is violating a law (it showed someone using a scooter on the sidewalk) and submit it. Presumably the city uses facial recognition from there.

Hotel check-in by face seems to me like more data for surveillance in this city (not that it's the only one...)
