Can you say what you are referring to here? As far as I know, there is 
only one such registry. And as an expert reviewer for that registry, I 
guess I should know :-(.

In the published document, the "please register" phrase will be replaced 
by something saying that IANA registered it, or so I think.

If it turns out to not be sufficient, IANA will tell you when they 
review the document. If a document is close to AUTH48, then it most 
probably already has passed that review.
