You can appeal this to the IESG if you like. The issue is not whether the MIB is important. Of course it is. The problem is that there aren't any senior people available who can bring the WG effort to a successful close. In fact, I don't even have any senior resources available to provide consultation to new WGs, hence the moratorium on new WGs for the remainder of the calendar year. /mtr
