We have published a new Internet-Draft proposing Best Current Practices to improve meaningful connectivity and digital sovereignty through circular management of end-user and network devices.

The document is based on operational experience from community-led deployments in Spain, Argentina, and Senegal (eReuse.org, EKOA/UNLP, TAU/RAEE, Solidança, Hahatay), and aims to complement GAIA research by documenting reproducible practices related to device availability, repairability, collective access, and lifecycle governance. Devices include user and network devices, since both are needed to enable meaningful connectivity to the unconnected.

We would welcome feedback on:
- Relevance to GAIA research scope
- Clarity of the BCP framing for an IRTF context
- Missing considerations (technical, architectural, or socio-technical)
