I believe that this mailing list is pretty much dead as well as the
associated effort to get a codepoint reserved for vendors to share a
legitimate TCP option number across the various middlebox discovery
mechanisms.

Since this list was setup by the IETF TSV ADs in order to facilitate
discussion and help to resolve the issue, seeing no discussion or
progress, Martin and I are ready to close the list.

I plan to request the IESG Secretary to close this list sometime
next week.  If there are still people interested in progressing some
flavor of the specification we all were working on, please contact
Martin or myself for possible AD-sponsoring.
