Carlos, Lizhong,

In your reviews, you correctly assert that MPLS Self-Ping will fail if both of the following conditions are true:


-          uRPF is enabled interfaces that connect the ingress and egress LSRs to the network interior

-          Either the penultimate LSR pops the label or the egress LSR performs uRPF checking *after* removing the label

Fortunately, in networks where RSVP-TE is enabled, uRPF is rarely enabled on interfaces connecting to the network interior. This is because a traffic engineered LSP is likely to deliver a packet on an interface other than the one expected by uRPF.

I will note this in the next version of the draft.
