Wish you were right, but even looking at non-contetious and simple
drafts 18 months is optimistic.

For example
draft-ietf-mpls-special-purpose-labels dates back to 2012-03 (27 months)

And the draft we are talking about here woudl be much more contentious,
I actually put in 18 months as a quite optimistic estimate.
