Hi Joe,

You might also want to look at the HMAC for IPv6 SR option for
authentication. This method might be more appropriate for connectionless
transport. We defined an extension based on it for GUE authentication and
are working to generalize the Linux implementation to allow different
protocols to use the same authentication mechanism.
