Thank you very much for guiding me to this website! Besides getting an 
answer to my question, here I learnt that *the most mature version of 
Jool is 4.1.11.*

Until now we still used 4.1.7 -- the version called "most matured" on 
the old jool.mx site, which now turned out not being maintained. :-(

I am very curious if the scalability of Jool has been improved.
