This subject came up on several different occasions on the dhc list. It
prompted the writing of "Relay Agent Assignment Notification (RAAN)":

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-dhc-dhcpv6-agentopt-delegate/

Each time the document was brought back up for discussion, there was initial
interest followed by silence. Reason being is that people do not think it is a
problem, and that relay agents should just continue to glean from IA_PDs
as they have always done.

Do you think we should bring back RAAN?
