Similar to Bernard.

When datatracker didn’t allow markdown uploads (or made this ridiculously complicated to set up; I don’t remember), I converted the markdown to HTML locally before uploading (using an app called Marked, but there are hundreds of ways to do this; kramdown (without -rfc) is of course one of them).
