Am I missing something?

I thought that LCAS gains 2 things:
1) Hitless and and remove of payload (dynamic bandwidth allocation)
but more importantly
2) Differential Delay through the network for differents parts of the
payload (i.e. diverse routing of network traffic).

How does GMPLS w/ LBM address the second issue?
