Getting rid of extraneous weird logic is the primary objective.

There are no compressible domain names in WKS.  RFC3597 unknown type
representation
does not change the meaning or otherwise damage the rdata.

Intermediate nameservers unaware of WKS, pass it along as as an unknown
type.

The end-points, if there still are any, are free to continue using WKS by
mutual agreement.
