Sorry, I messed up the terminology again.

Author/Editor is the same in RFC 2418.
So when I say “author merges”, I mean “person in the author heading of the I-D merges”, which are also called “editors”, except that my preferred editors are Emacs and the editors at the RFC editor.

I use “submitter of the PR” in contrast to "authors of the I-D".
