I support the WG Adoption of the Multi-Segment SD-WAN Draft.

This Draft proposes a new capability for customer SD WAN traffic from
Branch CPEs to the CSP GWs steering waypoints cloud backbone hops to
encrypt the transit customer traffic using GENEVE header eliminating the
requirement for Cloud Gateways to terminate IPSEC tunnels making the Cloud
gateway processing of traffic more efficient for customer traffic. The
GENEVE header is also leveraged for an innovative solution to steer
customer traffic through the cloud backbone using new transit GW TLVs that
can be listed in an include / exclude loose hops paths, thereby crafting
optimally steering path capability end to end through the cloud backbone.
Both of these new capabilities results in a tremendous benefit to service
provider SD WAN service offerings.

Kind Regards

Gyan
