I support the WG Adoption of the Multi-Segment SD-WAN Draft.

As Linda mentioned, this Draft efficiently connects the Branch CPEs to the
Cloud GWs for the Cloud Backbone traffic. It enhances the capability for
the Cloud GWs without requiring termination of the IPSec Tunnels. Hence,
branch-to-branch Customer traffic stays encrypted while transiting through
the Cloud WAN Backbone. It also enhances the performance of the Cloud GWs
as the GWs don't need to decrypt and re-encrypt the traffic.

The Draft introduces a groundbreaking capability for the Customer SD-WAN
traffic to be steered in the Cloud WAN Backbone. Between the Cloud Transit
GWs, the SD-WAN traffic can follow certain Regions based on the Include or
Exclude Transit Sub-TLVs included in the Geneve Header. This innovative
approach not only enhances the efficiency of SD-WAN with cloud networking
but also opens up new horizons for its future development.

Thanks,
Kausik
