Fred -

Notice that on a phone, instead of a side-by-side comparison, you get 
the "current" version first, followed by the "markdown" version later. 
Look for the blue headers.

The current version, of course, renders just as badly as /about does on 
a phone.

Scroll down and see what the section you'll find below the "Markdown 
rendering" header looks like.
