Well, this question is tricky. And I think you wanted to ask something
else:

So the Prague Integrated Traffic System includes buses, trams, metro
(underground), trains (if they go inner city, e.g. from one Prague
train station to another), ferries and funicular to hill Petrin. So it
really does not matter whether metro is treated as train or not. Most
importantly, metro is fully covered by this ticket.

The most precise information is here - but this is way too much for
you need. :-)

Simply, if you travel inside the city, you ticket is valid.
