Correct.

Throughout this thread, people seem to be confusing "verbal" with "oral".  The
latter refers to speech.  Formally, the former is about verbs; that is, words.
So, for example, sign languages are verbal.

That said, the confusion is common enough to represent an emerging change in the
language to produce an equivalence of the words.
